Tapping Into The Right Side of the Brain, Where Intuition Lives.

We are told that we are either “right brained” or “left brained,” but the reality is that we use both sides of our brain. We may be more dominant, or have the traits of one or the other, but in order to live and survive, like most things, it is a balance.

Many of us have been conditioned to rely mostly on the left side of our brain (which is responsible for logic and analysis). When we speak of things that are not black and white, we might have been described as frivolous, silly or too emotional, and not taken seriously as a result. Research shows that there is a lot to be said about tapping into the right side of our brain, where intuition, body memory, and the subconscious lives.

Using the right side of our brain is leaning into our intuition. We can strengthen this by using visualization, releasing fear, relaxing and optimizing the physical aspect of our lives to strengthen ourselves.

Once we go into our subconscious and start using our intuition, we start relaxing. We let go of the inner (or outer) critic, and we become more creative. We start letting go and it works more and more in our favor.

Just think what this world could be if more people used the gifts given to them. We would be more fulfilled, useful, and helpful to others.

The video above is the first of a playlist I am creating, entitled "Tapping Into Our Intuition." The series is about believing in, and trusting, ourselves to live life in the most authentic and fulfilling way possible.
