Here’s how the ocean affects our mood, well being and state of mind:

Sight - the color blue is associated with giving us feelings of calm and peace.

Sound - the consistent ebbing and flowing of the ocean waves de-stimulates our brains, putting us in a meditative state.

Touch the softness of the warm sand on our skin naturally relaxes us.

Smell - the negative ions in the air that we are breathing in give us a soothed state of mind.
