For many of us, we avoid looking at our pain because we feel it will bring us more discomfort. If we see it, what do we do with it? Therefore, we don't want to think about it, we don't want to talk about it - we just want it to go away.
Leaning into pain helps us heal. Think about the last time you went to the doctor, and if you didn't want to tell them what was wrong, how could they help you? Where are your discomforts and where is your pain?
The five questions are: Who, What, Where, Why and How?
Who. The most important is the Who. People and relationships are the most impactful (and potentially, painful) aspect of our lives. Leaning into the discomfort of recognizing the interaction we have with other people, and not pretending it is all okay, gives us the power of knowledge. It is about self discovery.
Where. As we know, our environment impacts us. How we use our energy, and the energy we give away impacts us. We are wired differently. By respecting and honoring our energy and your time, we know what works for us. This is also a boundary issue. Where are you at your best? Be in places and spaces that bring out the best in you, to regulate you and keep you at peace
What. This is a good question to ask. What is going on? To look at the dynamics of a situation. How can you be most aligned with the situations you participate in, and how can you best manage this in terms of expectations and action.
Why It's why do I feel this way? Getting real, getting granular. The why is how we get awareness. Then we get a better understanding our ourselves, and know what to do next.
How. How do we move forward, living authentically, getting real...and living in our spiritual sovereignty. By asking the questions above, and getting answers, the path is clearer. I hope this helps you on your journey of self discovery, and gives you more understanding of others, and their relationship with you.
