The Symbolism of Trees

Since ancient days, trees represent life, growth, wisdom, prosperity and protection. As we see the trees reach upward, we are reminded of our own journey of gaining wisdom and reaching upward, growing personally and spiritually.

Surrounded by the stillness of the forest, we become aware of the grandness and interconnectivity of all of life, including our own.

Why do we get so triggered by other people?

Do you find you get triggered by other people, by things that don’t even matter, or may not affect you?

Watch my video and get my perspective on how focusing on other people, and not ourselves, keeps us from getting what we want. By suppressing our emotions, we look outward for answers we will never get, and it stops us from living the best, evolved version of ourselves.

Thank you for watching 😊

Strength.

From the Tarot Deck Golden Art Nouveau by Giulia F. Massaglia

In the tarot, the Strength Card depicts a woman standing next to a magnificent golden lion, her hand trustfully resting on his massive teeth. But why?

It is because she has no fear, the goodness of the lion’s heart is more powerful than the instinct to destroy. The natural impulse has been tamed by her trust.

Interestingly, the lion is not an external animal she needs to tame, but instead, the lion represents her own inner strength. It’s the lion within.

When the lion is not tamed, we see the fighting (especially on social media - anyone know of “keyboard warriors?”), the attempts to embarrass people, to dominate over other people’s sovereignty.

People are fighting personal and professional wars, trying to one-up each other. They may form alliances against their adversaries, create harsh boundaries, and are not willing to listen or compromise. Oftentimes, holding grudges and keeping score.

However, true, authentic strength comes from within. Once we tap into our own inner strength, and continually practice it (and it is tough to do), we create self control, balance, understanding, patience and kindness.

This is when we find courage, awareness, and the knowledge that we can handle whatever comes our way. We are then no longer afraid, needing to search outward for validation. We don’t need to prove ourselves. We no longer need to live in defense mode, in search for battles that don’t need to exist.

And with that, we will have have won.
